SHARK-E 27" span "Retro"sport model

This is our tribute to the great 60's design by Eric Clutton. We call this a "Retro Sport" model with character and performance courtesy of the latest economy outrunner motors. The prototype was fitted with an economy "bell" motor and has been flown on a variety of battery packs from Ni-Cd to Li-Po. with around 100-120 watts available and all up weight of weight of 12-15 ounces (850mAh-1800mAh lipo pack) there is no surprise the SHARK-E will fly very happily on 1/3 throttle with great authority and stability despite it's small size. The fuselage is actually very spacious to aid installation of the recommended 9grm servos for aileron and elevator. The flight battery is accessed from the bottom of the model as with all our designs. This enables easy battery changes and enables the pack to "leave" the model with quickly without causing damage should the inevitable unscheduled landing occur!

If you have seen the March RCME Nigel Hawes has suggested a great mod to the model:- the tail plane can be fitted with a couple of screws instead of glue. This makes the whole model easily transportable in a small box! Not unlike our other popular model the "Elite" , absolutely ideal to take with you on holiday!

The kit is CNC cut for accurate self jigging build which takes a couple of evenings, detail instructions take you though the build process which will not be a problem for any modeller who has done a little building and wants something a little different to all the ARTF foamy models at the club site! Decorated with eyes and teeth the SHARK-E looks a real hooligan of a model but is really very easy to fly fast or slow. the large fin and cartoon looks make it very visible and it actually feels like a much bigger model to fly.

Anyone who flew the original will want this electrified tribute, anyone who wants to do a little traditional modelling and have fun will find it hard to find a better model at a better price.
